A batch inventory in Janium 2027 stays on the server, tied to the person who started it. Closing the browser or losing the connection does not cancel the job. The version is in Janium 2027 is now available.
The page shows the phase
Whoever started the batch can move to another screen and come back to the inventory page whenever they want. While the job is running, the page shows which phase it is in. The run starts with duplicates in the list and with codes that are not among the items, continues with items that have no technical processing, separates those in the same library from those in another, and ends with the ones already inventoried. If a filter leaves one of those phases out, its column does not appear in the result.
When other jobs are ahead in the queue, the page shows this inventory’s place and the job starts when its turn comes. At the end the page shows how many fell into each phase, and each report can be downloaded. Finishing the inventory removes those results and leaves the form blank.
One inventory at a time
While an inventory is unfinished, another one, in batch or item by item, waits until the one in progress is closed.
If the file that was uploaded is no longer on the server, the job is not created and an error message appears.
The list and the filters stay as they are
The barcode list and the filters for library, location, material type and status are used as before. What changes is that the job does not depend on leaving the window open.
